Joy!

Hey hey everyone! Hope you are well and safe. I made a Christmas card yesterday using Simon Says Stamp products. This card I love because of the green colour and the texture of the background. Green colour is very in at the moment especially Emerald Green. I did an ombre of dark green with some spatter and glitter embossing paste on stencil for the background. So here is the card.

So for the background, I used Evergreen Bough, Lucky Clover, Pine Needles and Black Soot distress ink on the background. I wish I had the new colour Rustic Wilderness. I am waiting for all the colour release to get them all together. Anyway, I then used Moonstone glimmer paste on Simon’s Geo Leaves stencil to add texture and glitter to the panel. After the paste dried, I added white gauche spatter all over the panel. I love love how the background turned out.

For the sentiment, I used the new Chunky Joy die. The backer is black cardstock and the word is using white glitter cardstock. The secondary sentiment is from Reverse Sentiment Slimline Christmas. A few white glossy drops to finish off the card.
