Hey everyone, Hope you are doing well. In my city, weather has turned into winter weather all of a sudden with a fantastic storm with high winds yesterday all throughout the night until this afternoon. It was terrifying but cool at the same time. We haven’t had a decent rain in four months. So it was cool to get rain. It would have been cooler if we had rain minus the 100km wind. Anyway, its all good. It is also unusually cold for autumn. Ok enough of my rant. Today I have a fun rainbow colourful Mother’s Day card to share since Mother’s day is around the corner. I have used Simon Says Stamp’s Spring Flowers 4 stamp set from the Sunny Days Ahead collection to make it.

I used distress oxide inks in rainbow colours on white cardstock panel. Then I spattered some clean water to add some texture on the panel. Then I stamped the same image from Spring Flowers 4 stamp set on the panel four times, staggering the image. I used Simon’s intense black ink. Using copic markers, I coloured the leaves of the stamped images coordinating the background colour. This makes the stamped image pop out of the background colour yet keeping in the same tone on tone. The sentiment is from Reverse Sentiment Panel Mom Days which I trimmed and adhered on the background panel using foam adhesive. A few clear sequins to finish off the card. The finished panel is adhered to a white card base.

Supplies:

Spring Flowers 4 stamp set is a versatile stamp set. You could do so many techniques using the images in the set. I cannot wait to try more and share. hope you liked my Mother’s day card today. Happy Mother’s day to every mother, grandmother, aunt, wife, mother in law….. Thanks for taking the time to visit my blog today. Have a wonderful day.
