Hey everyone, I have a miss you card to share today. I used Simon Says Stamp’s Lucky to Know You Daffodil Stems die to make this card. I also did some ink blending using stencils on the background.
For the background, I sponged distress inks in pastel colours. I used Shaded Lilac, Spun Sugar, Tumbled Glass and a bit of Dried Marigold. Then I placed the Square Dance Stencil and sponged the same colours of distress inks a bit heavier. Then I die cut the panel using one of the dies from Basic rectangle die set.
The Daffodils die is the focal image. To add dimension to the die, I have stacked and glued five of them with the top layer die cut using white glitter cardstock. I adhered this focal die cut on the centre of the background panel. The entire panel is adhered to the card front using foam adhesive.
The sentiment is from Miss You reverse sentiment panel. I just trimmed the sentiment adhered using foam adhesives. A few white rhinestones to finish off the card.
Hope you got inspired by my project for today. While self isolating, crafting is keeping me sane. Take care everyone and be safe. Until next time…..
