Hey everyone, Hope you and your family are well and staying safe. I am here today sharing my card as part of Simon Says Stamp United We Craft Party. This is a great idea to get us all crafters united in this tough times.

The intention is to encourage everyone to show the human side of our quarantined creativity as well as the beautiful things that everyone is creating. Hence Simon Says Stamp has created hashtag #SSSUnitedWeCraft. Simon would love for you to share photos with you and your family creating—your kids, your significant other, your pets, or anyone else in your house OR photos of Zoom craft sessions or Instagram story parties that you are having with your creative friends. We want to show how crafting is bringing us together in new ways.
As part of the party, I created an Easter card using Simon Says Stamp Bunny Wishes stamp set which is an older set. I believe it was released last year. This is such cute easter stamp set. There is also coordinating dies for the set. I wanted to copic colour but not a floral image. Hence I picked this stamp set.

I stamped the images and copic coloured them. Using the coordinating dies, I die cut them all out. For the background, I masked the bottom 1/3rd of the card front, then sponged the distress inks in Spun Sugar and Squeezed Lemonade. Then I placed the large dot stencil over the masked area and sponged the same inks slightly heavily. There is a bit of pattern and texture on the background. I removed the masking tape from the card front. I then adhered the coloured die cut images using foam adhesive on the threshold of the sponged and clean area.
The sentiment is a combination of Painted Happy Birthday die and sentiment from the Bunny Wishes stamp set. I used the gold glitter cardstock as the top layer of the Happy stack die cut. Stamped the Easter sentiment below the die cut sentiment and framed the sentiment using the bird die cuts. A few pink bubble dots from Sparketz to finish the card.

Have you noticed that I used a lot of pastel colours? Of course pastel colours are the norm of spring season. But not for me as a person. I generally love bright colours irrespective of the season. 🙂 I prefer to wear bright colours, use bright colours in my home etc… Bright colours make me happy. But lately, I am enjoying pastels as well. Pastels look fresh to my eyes. I like it. Below are the supplies used to make this card.
