Hey everyone, Hope you are all doing well. So excited to share Simon Says Stamp’s new release called Lucky To Know You!.

I was not going to share any projects because the new products did not arrive until yesterday. But lucky me, the postie delivered the package today just in time. In spite of my busy schedule today, I could not resist cracking open the new stencil called Daisy Bouquet and Just Because Word Mix 2 stamp set to make this card.

I sponged distress inks in Mustard Seed, Wild Honey, Twisted Citron and Iced Spruce on the Daisy Bouquet stencil on white cardstock. I then used Polychromos pencils to add shading to the sponged Daisy Bouquet and highlights using white gel pen. I also added shadows to the image.
I trimmed the panel and adhered to the card front. The sentiment is from Just Because Word Mix 2 stamp set, which I just stamped in black, trimmed and adhered using foam adhesives. A few moonshine sequins to finish of the card. Quick and easy card to make. I am so happy that I was to share my project on the release date.

Awesome card. I’m so glad your products arrived in time for you to make this. Your coloring and shading is gorgeous. The white pen really adds nice details. Can’t wait until my stencil arrives to try this. Thanks for the wonderful inspiration.
Dear Gayatri,
I absolutely love your “You’re the Best” card above. If have found and ordered the stencil from the Simon Says website in the US and cannot wait to receive it.
The petals of the daisies look ‘raised’. Could you please let me know what you have used or how you have achieved this effect. It is sensational. The only way I can think of is using Glossy Accents but I’m pretty sure it would be hard to keep the liquid from going over the image.
You make the most incredibly beautiful cards…well done you !
I thank you in anticipation.
With my kind regards
