Hello and Hope you are all doing well. I did some watercolouring using some new stamps from Simon Says Stamp. Be Kind stamp set from the Hey Bestie collection has some gorgeous foliage images on them. These are outline images and great for colouring. I have used just one of such image to make a set of two cards.

I want relax and do some watercolouring with the image. But then I had time to do no line colouring as well. So I stamped the image from Be Kind stamp set on Tim Holtz’s distress watercolor paper panels using Antique Linen distress ink. On one panel, I stamped the image on the centre of the panel. On the other, I stamped thrice on the top of the panel as though the foliages are falling.
Using Migello Mission watercolour palette, I coloured all the images. I only did couple of layers. The first layer was a light wash and the second layer was the shading layer. Once dry, I did a very very light wash of the background in neutral colours as well. Then I spattered the same colours of watercolour all over the panel and left the panel to dry.
Once dry, I die cut the panel using Simon’s largest of the Wonky Stitched Rectangle die to die cut the panels out. At this stage, I wanted a bit more colour and shading to the watecoloured foliage. So I used Polychromos pencils to add more shading, depth and shadow to the images. I then adhered the panel on to the Smoky Gray card bases using glue.
The sentiment is from Sentiment Strips Reverse Miss You and Love You More panels. These panels are a great time saver. I trimmed my sentiments and adhered using foam adhesives. A few Moonshine sequins to finish off the cards.
