Taylored Expressions January Release Day #1

Hello everyone, Welcome back. I am very excited to share Taylored Expressions January release projects to you starting today. This release is Valentine’s day themed and there are some gorgeous products to be released. From today till Thursday is the sneak peeks but all products are released on Tuesday. That is tomorrow.

Today I have couple of projects to share. The first one uses the new Loved background stamp set with its coordinating cutting plate. This set also has a coordinating stencil. On my project below I used just the stamp and cutting plate.

I stamped the Loved background stamp on Sugar Cube card stock using Oreo hybrid ink and coloured using copic markers. Then using the cutting plate, I die cut the panel and all the coloured heart shapes gets die cut out. I also die cut couple of more panels using the cutting plate. Then using the extras heart die cut, I stacked glued them with the coloured hearts on top.

I adhered the negative coloured panel to the card front and inlaid the stacked coloured hearts back in place. The stacked hearts give extra dimension which is cool. The sentiment is from Mini Strips Valentine which I simply stamped and matted with Cherry Top cardstock to make the sentiment stand out and also coordinate with the red colours on the background. The second project is a card set. TE has brought out card panels with borders and some spaces between them to stamp images and colour. Then all you need to do is stamp a sentiment in the middle, adhere the panel to card base and the card is done. This set of card panels with borders on them are called Boxed in Corners. I have combined In You Corners stamp set with these panels to make a set of quick and easy cards.

I used the gorgeous corner floral stamp from In Your Corner stamp set to stamp on the corners of the Boxed In Corners panels using Oreo hybrid ink. Then coloured the images using copic markers and added highlight details using white gel pen.

I also stamped the sentiment from In Your Corner stamp set using Oreo ink in the middle. Under lined the sentiment with black fine liner. I spattered the panels with gold watercolour spatters to add extra detail to rather plain background. A few Bits and Pieces Have a Heart embellishments which is new to the release on the panel completes the panels. I adhered the panel on coloured card base to highlight the colours on the floral cluster. This finished the card set. Below are the photos of all the individual cards and closeups.
