Hey everyone, Hope you are all doing well. I have a clourful card to share with you today using Simon Says Stamp’s Diecember release die called The Best is Yet To Come! This is a fantastic die to make encouragement card. This die came in perfect time to me as I needed an encouragement card to give my daughter who has been still hard at work preparing and attending Med school interviews straight after finishing her exams. I feel really bad and guilty because she could not go for leavers parties because of travelling for interviews. She says she is fine with it but I do know she misses all her friends who are having a great time. Anyway, I made this card to give her just to encourage her that all her hard work will pay off for her soon.
All the products I used to make this card are from Simon Says Stamp. I will list all the products used to make this card later in the post.

Since this card has the die as the focal point and no coloured images or stamping, I used colours to make an impact. For the background, I sponged Tumbled Glass and Salty Ocean distress oxide inks, spattered with water and used the Tumbling Leaves stencil to add interest and texture to the background. Then I die cut the panel using the largest Wonky Stitched rectangle die.
The focal point in the The Best is Yet to Come die set. Love love this die. This set has both the phrase die as well as the backer die. I sponged a panel with Mustard Seed, Wild Honey and Carved Pumpkin distress oxide inks and die cut the panel with the phrase die three times. I stacked glued the die cut to get dimension. The backer die I die cut using black cardstock. I adhered the phrase die cut on the backer die before adhering it on the background panel. I used shimmer pen to add shimmer to the phrase focal point.
