Hope you all are having a great day! I have a grateful card to share with you this thanksgiving month. I love the rich colours of fall or autumn season. I am in the spring down under but Spring and Autumn are my favourite seasons except for the wind and pollen. Without further delay, here is the Grateful card.

I have used Simon Says Stamp‘s new Tumbling Leaves stencil. This is a beautiful stencil. I sponged autumn colours over the stencil on watercolour card panel. I used Seedless Preserve, Ripe Persimmon, Mustard Seed, Carved Pumpkin and Mowed Lawn distress inks. Then I went over the sponged area using a darker shade of the same colour Faber Castell PolyChromos pencils to add shading and depth. To add sparkle, I went over the stenciled area with shimmer pen. I sponged the edges of the panel with Gathered Twigs distress ink.
I die cut a few Eucalyptus leaves dies using gold vellum paper. The paper is from an old We’re memory Keepers DIY party paper pack. The antique gold vellum paper in the pack was the perfect colour for thanksgiving. The sentiment is from Simon Says Stamp’s Grateful die. The backer die I die cut using Dark Chocolate cardstock and the grateful die using Gold glitter cardstock. I adhered this on the panel using foam adhesive and tucked the Eucalyptus die cut under the sentiment. A few gold sequins to finish off the card.
