Who said Christmas cards should be in traditional colours of green and red or blue and white? I am for one who loves to do something different. My preference is to have bright and colourful Christmas cards. I love every colour of the rainbow. So I decided to do a set of rainbow coloured Christmas cards. In my head, colours = festive.
I have used products from Taylored Expressions to make them all. Some of them are newly release Christmas products and some are some old goodies. I will list all products used towards the end of the post.

I sponged rainbow of colours of TE dye inks on three Sugar Cube panels using Te blender brushes. I used Lollipop, Fruit Punch, Candy Corn, Lime Zest, Lemon Meringue and Gumball TE dye inks. Then used the new Border Builder Snowflakes die to die cut five rainbow snowflakes borders. I love love the rainbow snowflakes. So pretty!
For the background, I embossed five of Sugar Cube panels using TE Plaid embossing folder. This gives texture to rather plain white background. I trimmed the panels to 3:75″ x 5:50″ and glued the rainbow snowflakes border die cut on top of the panel. One the Sugar Cube card front, I adhered a strip of pattern paper each from 6 x 6 Playful Patterns Black and White pack. Then I adhered the rainbow die cut panel to the card front using foam adhesives with the black and white pattern paper strip showing on the bottom.
For the sentiment, I used the new Simple Strips Christmas stamp set, stamped using Oreo hybrid ink on Watermelon Cardstock. Using the Simple Strips die, die cut the sentiments out. I choose a five sentiments to adhered on the cards using foam adhesives. A few rhinestones on the centre of the snowflakes and a few more scattered around the sentiment strips to finish off the cards.
Now make yourself a cuppa and enjoy the photos of the individual cards and closeups of them.
