Happy Monday! Hope you are having a lovely day! I am sharing with you another Christmas card using a leftover piece of Poinsettia background stamp from Simon’s STAMPtember release that I coloured. When I stamp and colour a full 6×6 background stamp, I prefer to use the whole panel. But then I trim the panel to make one card, I am left with a reasonably big piece. I put in so much time and effort to colour, I like to use the leftover to make a card. This is how I like to stretch the stamp. All products I used on my project today is from Simon Says Stamp. Without further delay, here is the card.

I adhered the left over piece to the top of a kraft card base. Then added another kraft panel on the bottom of the card front that overlaps the coloured panel slightly. Before adding this panel, I roughed the edges using scissors and wrapped a natural twine around the top half. I adhered this panel using foam adhesive.
I used the Pine needle Trio die from Simon to die cut dark green cardstock and adhered below the bow of the twine. Then topped the centre of the bow with a large gold sequins.
The sentiment is Merry Christmas using Simon’s Merry Christmas die. I stacked glued a three white diecut and a gold glitter die cut on top. I adhered this sentiment die cut to the bottom of the kraft panel. A few white Nuvo glossy drops scattered to finish off the card.

Supplies:

I am a bit sporadic with my post. Please bear with me. I have a daughter in year 12 and mock exams have just started. Although, I am not doing the exam, the stress level in the house at the moment is super high. I am sure those with children in and out of year 12 can relate to this. Trying to be supportive in every way. Some days are good and some are not. My craft has taken a back seat until November. I will share projects as much as I can but not as frequent as I used to. Will be back fully by November end. Thanks for your support. 🙂
Hope you enjoyed my card project today. Have a lovely Monday. I will see you soon 🙂
