Winter has truly arrived in my neck of the woods. It has been cold, cloudy, dark, rainy, windy and miserable. So not much outdoor activity at all this weekend. So I did some crafting. I took Altenew’s Polychromatic class for the certification program. And I made my project for the class.
Hello, Welcome back to my blog. I am Gayatri, a papercraft. Today’s project is a floral card. And I did some faux no line colouring using copic markers. I am so surprised that I, I mean I can do no line colouring! I cannot describe how stoked I am. Lol! I have never been able to do no line colouring. So you know how stoked I am when you actually see it.
Can you see what I mean? The flowers and leaves are coloured using copic markers. They look like I did no line colouring, right? Actually it is faux no line colouring. I stamped the flowers using Altenew’s Iceberg ink and coloured the flowers using B91, B93, B95, and B97 markers. The centre of the flowers are coloured using Y06, YR14 and E07. The leaves are stamped using Firefly ink and coloured using YG05, YG06, YG07 and YG17 markers. Then I die cut using the coordinating dies.
For the background, I used Spring Garden stencil and sponged inks from Lapis Lazuli ink set in ombre. This colours ties in with the colours of the flowers. I arranged the flowers and leaves in a cluster on the faded side of the background panel using foam adhesive as well as glue. The sentiment is from Painted Encouragement stamp set which I white heat embossed on a strip of black cardstock and adhered below the cluster. A few white Nuvo crystal drops to finish off the panel. The panel is adhered to white card base using craft foam to finish off the card.
Now you know how thrilled I am. I am now motivated to do more of this faux no line colouring and get more better at it. 🙂 Thank you very much for taking the time to visit my blog. Have a lovely weekend!
