It feels like very long since I blogged. But my last post was Saturday. I don’t know why I feel so. In the mean time, I have making lots of projects for release next month. So I cannot share any this month. I am also going away for a week next week. So I have lots of catch up to do. I am nearly there. Just couple more to go.
Today I have a cute card to share using Taylored Expressions Punny Notes stamp set and coordinating dies. This set is adorable. There are eight cute images and coordinating punny sentiments. This set also has coordinating dies.
I used only the car image and the coordinating sentiment to make my card.
So I stamped six of the car image on Sugar Cube cardstock using TE Oreo hybrid ink. Then coloured them using copic markers in rainbow colours. Then using the coordinating die, I die cut them all out. Then the question is how I want to place them on the card front. I debated if I want to line them up or die cut a panel using TE Peek A Boo circle die and have the cars inside the circle die cuts so on…. When I read the sentiment, it came upon my brain to form a circle with the car images like a wheelie! Yay!
So I die cut a Sugar Cube panel using Petite Scallop Rectangle die, the largest one. Then using the largest Inside Scallop Circle die, I die cut a circle on the top centre of the panel. I guess you could die cut using a circle die as well. This is my card front panel.
On the card base front, I masked the edges and sponged Peacock Feathers, Mermaid Lagoon, Blueprint Sketch and Chipped Sapphire. This blend will show up through the inside scallop circle die cut on the front panel. So I adhered the panel using foam adhesive for dimension on the card base. I stamped the sentiment on the inside of the Inside Scallop Circle using MISTI. Then arranged the card around the perimeter of the circle using foam adhesives. Finally a few white Nuvo glossy drops to finish the card.
Hope you are having a lovely day! Thanks very much for stopping by.
