Today has been super busy. Not done yet! Not only is it my birthday, it is also my daughter’s year 12 school ball. My birthday has taken a back seat as it is an important day for my girl. I have been driving her around for her hair appointment, doing make up, help her get ready, taking photos and taking her to the venue. Phew! That is stressful. Now that she is dropped off to the venue with her date, I am back home exhausted. But I did want to share this card with you. Blogging relaxes me. Cannot believe I said this. Lol!
Hello everyone, Gayatri here with you. I am sharing this cute birthday card with you today.
I used Taylored Expressions Love Train stamp set to make this card. This is a long card. I used the whole 8.25 inches in length of the cardstock and trimmed to 4 inches. I sponged Worn Lipstick, Spiced Marmalade,Mustard Seed and Dried Marigold distress oxide inks for the background. I stamped the train tracks from the stamp set on the background panel using TE Oreo hybrid ink.
I stamped the train images a few of them using TE Oreo hybrid ink on Sugar Cube cardstock and coloured them using copic markers. Then using the coordinating dies, I die cut them all out. I used foam adhesives to adhere them on top of the stamped train tracks. I stamped the sentiment from the stamp set on a strip of Sea Salt cardstock using TE Oreo hybrid ink and adhered on top left side of the panel using foam adhesives. I then used the clouds die from Little Bits Sun and Clouds die to die cut a few clouds using Sea Salt and Sugar Cube cardstock. I then glued a few down directly using the glue and a few using foam adhesive for dimension.
I adhered this panel to a Sugar Cube card base and added a few White Blizzard Nuvo drops and glossy accents on the hearts and traffic lights. to finish the card. Here are more photos of the card.
I love the train images in this set. Absolutely adorable. I have listed all the supplies used to make this card below.
Thank you very much for taking the time to stop by my blog. Off to eat dinner now and then pick up my girl from the ball. Yay!
