Winnie & Walter’s Rerun Feature!

A quick post today sharing Winnie & Walter’s rerun project for December.

Each month Winnie & Walter runs a Rerun Feature where an older stamp set is showcased by the designers. This stamp set is on sale for the entire month and there is also a challenge and giveaway. All details about the challenge are at Winnie & Walter’s Blog. Make sure you head over there for design team inspirations and details on the challenge.

This month’s featured stamp set is Stampets: Penguins stamp set.

I love penguins. This set is adorable especially the accessories for the penguins. I decided to make tags using this set. I used the new Essentials: Tilda Cutaway die set. I used the tag from this die set to make a set of three tags.

I stamped the scarf and mittens first, then masked them and stamped the penguin. Removed the mask and repeated it twice more to make a set of three penguins with scarf and mittens as one piece of image. Then I coloured them using copic markers. Using the scissors I fuzzy cut the penguins out.

To make the tags, I die cut three tags using the tag from Tilda Cutaway and some Christmas pattern paper from my stash. Three more using white cardstock. I used the V shaped die from Tilda Cutaway on one of the white tags to get banner end to it. Similarly, I used W&W Georgette Border Cutaway and the Zigzag die from Essentials Katherine Cutaway to die cut the other two white tags.  I also die cut just the top part of the tag using red glitter cardstock. I adhered this to the white tags then layered the white tags on the pattern paper tags and added bakers twine in red and white to secure the tags in place.

The penguins were adhered to the tags using foam adhesives. The sentiment from the stamp set is simply stamped on white cardstock, trimmed into a strip and adhered on the bottom of the penguin image using foam adhesives.

I added white blizzard Nuvo drops to the scarf and mittens and glossy accents to the eyes. Here are the photos of the tags individually.

Check out Winnie and Walter Blog for some fabulous design team inspiration as well the challenge and giveaway. Thank you very much for stopping by today. Have a fantastic weekend.
