Happy Tuesday! Sharing a card using Simon Says Stamp Summer Cuddly Critters stamp set. This set has been sitting on my table for a while now unused. So last night I decided to crack open the set and ink them up. Here is the card I made.
I stamped the images from Summer Cuddly Critters stamp set on Neenah Solar White cardstock using Simon’s Intense Black ink and copic coloured them all. I enjoyed colouring the images. The using the coordinating die, I die cut the images out. Then added some details using Sakura White Gelly Roll pen.
For the background, I used one of my blended backgrounds. If you are following me on Instagram, you know I love my distress inks and every day I do an ink blending background almost everyday. This is one of the background I am using after adding water spatters. The colours used are Salty Ocean, Mermaid Lagoon and Blueprint Sketch. Typical ocean or pool background colours.
I die cut a Neenah Solar white panel using the largest of Simon’s Wonky stitched die and a largest stitched circle die on the centre of the panel. I adhered this panel on top of the background panel using foam adhesive. Then I tucked the dog image a bit inside the circle window and the rest of the images as shown below.
Then I stamped the bubble image on the background using Simon’s intense black ink. The sentiment is white heat embossed on a strip of black cardstock, trimmed and adhered had on the white panel and half on the background panel inside the circle window. I adhered this finished panel on an Island Blue card base.
