Happy Birthday!

Hey friends, I have a quick post to share today. I recently bought this set from the latest Pinkfresh Studio release called A Day in the City stamp set and the Cityscape Die. These two were the two favourites from the release. The Cityscape die is such a cute and clever die. I love how the die coordinates with the A Day in the City as well as Home for the Holidays stamp sets. I had to have them all. When they arrived, I could not wait to ink them up and make atleast one card if not more. Today I am sharing one of the few I made.

All I did with this card is die cut a white panel using the Cityscape Die, then stamped the images from A Day in the City stamp set using Simon’s Black ink and then coloured the images using copic markers. I also stamped the clouds on the fog card base front using the same black ink and copic coloured the clouds as well. Then I adhered panel on the Fog card front using scotch foam adhesives. I did not add any embellishments at all. I did not feel the need for it. The scene is so pretty, the banner has the sentiment nice and bold making the card perfect as is. Sometimes, I enjoy just stamping and colouring to make simple card. Best part is I made multiples of this card just altering the colours on it and I have enough birthday cards in my stash now. Here are some closeups of the card.

All the supplies used to make this card are listed below.

Thank you very much for stopping by today!
