Happy Mother’s day!

Hello everyone! Welcome!

Sunday being Mother’s Day, I have a Mother’s Day card using Simon Says Stamp Center Cut Flower background stamp and Mom Flowers stamp set from the Fluttering By release.

I have been drooling over a lot of grey montone colouring on the internet. So thought I will give it a go. I used the new Center Cut Flower background stamp here. I used the center flower stamp not the whole background stamp. I stamped the image repeatedly on the bottom right side of the panel using Simon Says Stamp Intense Black Ink. Then used Cool Gray Copic Marker pens C0, C00, C2, C4 and C6 to colour the images. Initially I only wanted to colour the flowers with grey and the leaves with green and dots with pink for pop of colour. But after seeing how beautiful the flowers turned out, I decided to colour the whole image with gray markers. To highlight the flower centres, I used Sakura White Gelly Roll pen. I outlined the image with BG 11 and B000 copic markers.

The sentiment is from Mom Flowers stamp set. I stamped the large MOM vertically on the top left of the panel using Simon’s Fog ink. Then the secondary sentiment stamped in black on Sea Glass strip of cardstock. I trimmed and adhered this next to the stamped MOM sentiment using foam adhesive.

To tie in the blue from the sentiment and outline of the image, I adhered the completed panel on Simon’s Sea Glass card base using foam adhesives. Finally added Aquamarine sequins in 6mm and 4mm from Pretty Pink Posh to finish off the card.

Here are some closeups of the card.

So happy with how this card turned out. All the supplies used to make this card are listed below.

Happy Mother’s Day to all the mothers in the world.

Have a wonderful weekend everyone.
