Whoa! You Are Amazing!

Hiya everyone,

I am sharing my first card using Simon Says Stamp Fluttering By release. My package arrived on Monday and hence I am only now sharing my projects. I love the Abstract Triangle stencil and I teamed this stencil with Whoa! You are Amazing! die. Its a simple card but makes an impact. Here it is.

Yeah! I told you. I simply sponged Distress Oxide inks in rainbow colours on the stencil placed on white cardstock panel. The colours I used are Picked Raspberry, Carved Pumpkin, Squeezed Lemonade, Twisted Citron, Peacock Feathers and Wilted Violet. I love the bright colourful vibrant rainbow with the abstract triangle design. I also dry embossed the stencil on the panel for added texture. I am not able to capture it on the photos. Sorry about that. But it is there 🙂

I adhered this panel on a white card base. The sentiment is die cut using Whoa! You are Amazing die and black cardstock. I layered this die cut on a white cardstock piece. I inlaid the middle pieces of the letter “O”. I adhered this die cut on the middle of the card front using foam adhesives. I embellished the card front using Little Things by Lucy’s Diamonds Opalescent. I love these diamonds. They catch light beautifully and sparkle like real diamonds. Whoa!

Here are couple of closeups of the card.

I think I channeled my inner Laura Bassen into make this card. I think you all will agree 🙂 Love you Laura. You work is amazing and inspiring.
