Yes! All the new release products we have been showcasing for past three days are now available at Taylored Expressions store. Welcome back to the release day post.
I am sharing with you two cards using two new products. These are must have dies in your collection. The first one is called Inside Scallop Rectangle Stacklet.
I used the largest stitched rectangle die from Stitched Rectangle Stacklet to die cut a gold foil cardstock. Then I used the largest of the Inside Scallop Rectangle die to diecut the gold stitched panel. There is two gorgeous detail in this frame.Love it. Great to frame the focal point.
I used Santa image from Santa and Friends stamp set from the previous release as my focal point. I black heat embossed the image and watercoloured it. Then die cut using the coordinating die. I also white heat embossed the sentiment from the same stamp set on Oreo cardstock and trimmed.
For the background, I embossed the Sugar Cube panel using Peaceful Poinsettia embossing folder and lightly sponged Cherry Pop TE ink on the edges. I foam adhered the gold foil stitched inside scallop frame on the embossed panel. Then I adhered the sentiment on the bottom inside using foam adhesive. The Santa bottom die cut is adhered using foam and the Santa head is adhered using a wobbler. I then added some enamel stars from Cherry Pop enamel shapes.
All the supplies used to make this card are listed below.
The second product is also a die called Inside Scallop Circle Stacklet.
I have used a similar layout to make my card. I die cut a stitched rectangle panel using the silver foil cardstock and then used the largest Inside Scallop Circle die to die cut a circle on the top centre of the panel to make an inner layering frame for the focal point.
For the background, I used the Nordic Christmas embossing folder and sponged Granny Smith TE dye ink on the edges.I stamped, heat embossed and watercoloured the elf image from Santa and Friends stamped. The image is die cut using the coordinating die. The sentiment from the same stamp set is white heat embossed on Oreo cardstock and trimmed.
The rest of the process is exactly the same as the previous card including the wobble for the head of the elf die cut. The difference is in the colours and shapes of the frame and enamel dots.
Love the wobbler action on both the cards. Makes it so much fun to have an interactive element. All the supplies used to make this card are listed below.
