Taylored Expressions September Release Sneak Peek #3

This is my second post for today. My first post is HERE!

Welcome back! This is the third day of sneak peeks from Taylored Expressions September Release.

I am showcasing two new products today as well. The first one is one of my favourite in the release called Big Blooms – Daisy! This is a gorgeous big and bold floral stamp set. I am sure you are going to love this set. Come on, who does not like floral sets!

I did a lot of watercolouring on this card. Since its a fall release, I kept the colours to the season. Using masking technique, I white heat embossed the flower and the leaves. Then used Zig clean color brush pens to colour the flower, leaves and the background. I also then sponged gathered Twigs distress ink on the edges to give depth to the panel.

I used the new Thanks Script die as the sentiment. I die cut a few of them, stacked and glued to get extra dimension. Then brushed the sentiment with clear shimmer. Finally embellished the card with sequins from Snow Flurries sequins with Morning Dew Nuvo Crystal Drops at the centre and yellow twine wrapped with a bow.

All supplies used to make this card are listed below.

The second product I am showcasing today is a stamp set called Laurels. This is an elegant stamp set and I love it. So I went to town with it and made a set of four cards using all the images in the stamp set. Warning: It is photo heavy!

I used each of wreath image in the stamp set for background by stamping tone on tone on Toffee card base and as focal image by heat embossing the same images in black on stitched banner die cuts to watercolour. I used Zig clean color brush pens to watercolour the image. Zig brush pens have been my go to for watercolouring as they give me more control than the standard watercolour mediums.

All of the cards have the same layout. The only difference is the images, sentiment and the embellishments. All the sentiment from the stamp set are white heat embossed on Chocolate Truffle cardstock, trimmed and edges are roughed. The embellishments are Doodlebug Sprinkles Enamel Dots. All of them have natural twine wrapped and made into a bow on top of the banner die element.

All supplies used to make these cards are listed below.
