Taylored Expressions April Release Sneak Peek Day #1

Hiya everyone,

Welcome to Taylored Expressions April Release Sneak Peek. Today is Day #1. For the next four days, I will have two projects per day to share with you. There are so many gorgeous new products as always from Taylored Expressions this release. I am excited to share. Hope you are ready.

These two products go well together. The stamp set called In & Out Get Well and die to go with with called Little Bits: Bandage.

I have combined these two new products along with two more dies Little Bits: Stethoscope and Little Bits: Nurses Hat to make my card below.

I clustered the three Little Bits dies together with the sentiment from the stamp set. To make the cluster and sentiment stand out, I sponged Toffee and Dijon TE dye inks on the edges of largest stitched rectangle die cut panel. I added some water to get the spatter effect. I left the centre white where I added the cluster of Little Bits dies and sentiment.

I adhered this stitched panel on a scallop die cut using Cherry Pop cardstock and Frame in Frame 2 dies. The red on the nurses hat and red scallop coordinates. To tie in the black from the sentiment and the stethoscope, I adhered the finished panel on the black card base.

There are some great sentiment in the In & Out Get Well stamp set that will go well with any or all of the Little Bits using on the card.

All the supplies used to make this card are listed below.

The second product I am showcasing is beautiful floral die called Bloomers 4.

I have combined Bloomers 4 along with another new product called Pitcher vase die to make my card.
I die cut the Bloomers 4 die a number of times using Sugar Cube cardstock. Then I sponged the flower with Plum Punch TE dye ink, the smaller piece using Jelly Donut TE dye ink and the flower centre Lemon Meringue TE dye ink. Leaves are from Rosy Posey die set sponged with Granny Smith and Peapod TE dye inks.
The pitcher is die cut using Sugar Cube cardstock and sponged the inside of the pitcher vase using blue distress oxide inks to give water effect. I adhered the pitcher on a vellum panel then adhered the Bloomers 4 and leaves die cut into a cluster on the top of the pitcher. For the background, I die cut  Sugar Cube cardstock with Basketweave cutting plate and sponged Mint Julep and Pink Champagne TE dye inks. I adhered this on the card base then the vellum panel with the pitcher and bloomers on top using foam adhesives. The sentiment is from another new stamp set called Listen to Your Heart. I white heat embossed the sentiment on a strip of Oreo cardstock and adhered on top of the pitcher. The card is embellished with Nuvo Crystal drops – Dandelion Yellow on the centre of the Bloomers and Morning Dew on the leaves. Here are some closeups of the card.
