Another exciting news to share….

May 6, 2014 MFT, RIC, Uncategorized, Wplus9

Hey everybody,
Thank you so much for tuning into my blog post. I am so excited to share with you the news that I am joining the Runaway Inspired Challenge Design Team 🙂 I have been a big fan of this challenge because I love fashion and this challenge is very unique. When Jennifer asked me, I was beyond thrilled. So today I am sharing with you my very first project as designer for Runaway Inspired Challenge.
Here is Runaway Inspired Challenge #59
I love this dress very much because it is so feminine and flowing. The pleats are so pretty. But what inspired me most are the colours. I love the green (my favourite colour) and little black strips on this dress. My card below is based on the colour combination. Here is my take on the challenge.
RIC #59
I basically sponged Shabby Shutters and Mowed Lawn Distress Inks on the card front. I then die cut Foliage Frame Die from Wplus9 using black cardstock and adhered on the card front. This gives a nice frame on the card front and what a contrast of colours. I then stamped the sentiment at the centre on the cardfront. The sentiment is from Be Your Best Self stamp set from My Favorite Things. I coloured a few sentiments with Peeled Paint distress ink and brushed Wink of Stella shimmer. Finally did a spatter of white Mr. Huey. Very happy with how my card turned out.
Now head to Runaway Inspired Challenge blog to see who else is joining the design team today and also get inspired with many gorgeous projects shared by design team. Come and play along with us on the challenge. You could enter for a chance to win $15 gift certificate from Simon Says Stamp Shop.
Thanks for sharing my excitement with me today.
