Right, I did…… and this is the result of one of the idea bulbs.

My second take on the Texture Challenge at the Basic Grey Challenge blog.

I have used white card stock as the background.
A piece of white card stock embossed on cuttle bug,
inked around the edges with lime green Versa color ink.
I have used Basic Grey Urban Prairie Chipboard shape flowers on them.
Alphas from Basic Grey Porcelain card stock alpha stickers. T
he fiber is from my stash. can’t remember where from!!!
Enjoy…
Thats it from me today.

Basic Grey Challenge #27

Hey Everybody,

This week’s Basic Grey Challenge #27 is all about Texture.
Of course, there should be some Basic Grey product used in the creations.

This is my take on the challenge:

I have used corrugated cardboard and lace for the texture.
The layered flowers and leaves are from Basic Grey Marrakech card stock element stickers.
I have layered the flowers using double sided foam for the 3D effect.
The background paper is from K & Co Blue Awning paper pack.
Brads and the blue pearl from Kaiser Craft.
And the sentiment piece of paper is also from kaiser Craft Peek a Boo paper range.

Thanks for the challenge.
Plenty of idea bulbs are glowing all around my head.
May make another card as well!!

Until next time

Hugs

Surprise!!! Surprise!!!

Hey everybody,

I got a surprise today! I won the Basic Grey Challenge #26. Yay!!!
What a sweet surprise.
My DH and kids gave me Hi-Fis.
Doing a little dance right now!! lol!!
You made my day, Martine. Many thanks.

—————————————————————

Today I made a layout for one of our Challenge Chics who recently delivered a cute baby girl.
We had planned in our forum at Debscreations that we will each make a baby layout and send it as an album to her.

Here is mine.

I also made a card for her.

I haven’t used pastel shades in ages.
My kids have grown now and I haven’t made baby layouts at all!!!
They look so beautiful and baby like. Awww cute!!!
They are the Peek a boo papers from Kaiser Craft. Really loved making them.
Thought I will share these with you all.
Got to go for dinner.
Thanks for stopping by.

Hugs
