Hey everyone! I am very excited today to share my projects for Taylored Expressions Mini/Simple Strips release. There are two fun sentiment stamp set released today. One is called Simple Strips Snarky with coordinating Simple Strips Asymmetrical die. The other is called Mini Strips Fun & Funny stamp set. I love both stamp set but the Simple Strips Snarky is my favourite of the two. My first card showcases the Simple Strips Snarky stamp set with the Asymmetrical die.
I have used some older stencils and stamp sets to make this card along with the new releases today. All the supplies are listed below. I stamped and copic coloured images from Love from Max and Millie stamp set and die cut using coordinating dies. ON the background, I used the Bokeh layering stencil over the sponged areas to give tone on tone interest. The sentiment from the new Simple Strips Snarky is white heat embossed on Oreo cardstock and die cut using the new Asymmetrical Simple Strips die. A few Bit and Pieces Clear drops to finish off the card.
My second project uses the new Mini Strips Fun & Funny stamp set.
For this card I used the recently released Gus & Gustie Ride On stamp set and coordinating die along with older Masking Stencil Hexagonal and Heart of Hearts layering stencils. I used the larger hexagonal mask and sponged the background with Sprinkles and Granny Smith TE dye inks. I also used the Heart of Hearts stencil to sponge the same inks heavier for tone on tone effect.
I stamped the image from Gus and Gustie Ride On and copic coloured the image. Using the coordinating die, I die cut out the image and adhered on the hexagon on the background panel. I then simply stamped the sentiment from the new stamp set and die cut using the coordinating die and adhered ash shown. A few Bit and Pieces Clear Drops to finish off the card.
There is a promotion going on. Please see the graphics below for more details.
