Hello everyone, How are you? Hope you are well. I have not been very well. Had a massive sinusitis and still has it. The pressure and pain on the face and fatigue is debilitating. I still have to breath though my mouth and loss of strength all over the body. Any little task has been exhausting. Anyway, that is why I have been MIA. Hoping the rest of 2021 is better than this.
I am here to share my projects for Simon Says Stamp Love You Too release. As it has been last year because of the epidemic, the goodies arrived late. Hence I could not participate in the blog hop. But I am here now sharing my projects.
Love You Too! release from Simon Says Stamp is an awesome release with some fantastic stamp sets, dies, slimline envelopes, stencils and sequins. I have couple of cards using the new Hearts and Streamers layering stencil and the new Thank You for Being a Friend die.
Here is Card #1
On this card I used only the Streamer stencil from the layering set on the background multiple times. I used Milled Lavender and Wilted Violet distress inks to sponged over the Streamer stencil. I also used Moonstone glimmer paste to add sparkle and texture to the background. I then die cut the Thank You for Being a friend die using gold glitter cardstock and adhered on the bottom of the background panel. I embellished using gold sequins. The panel is adhered to white card base.
Here is Card #2
On this card, I used both the Streamer and the Hearts stencils with a rainbow of colours from distress inks. I also used the Moonstone glimmer paste to add texture and sparkle. I love how the background turned out. For the sentiment, I used the same Thank You for Being a Friend die in black to add contrast. Love it. Some clear sequins to finish the background panel. The panel is adhered to white card base using foam adhesive. All supplies used are listed below.
