Hello hello everyone, Hope you are well and safe. I know it is early for thanksgiving but I could not resist fall colours. Hence I made a thanks giving card to day using Simon Says Stamp STAMPtember® release products. Here is the card first.

My thought process was to used the new Etched Laurel Leaves die set and the new Slimline Greetings stamp set to make cards for each of the sentiment in the greetings stamp set. The first card in the series is using Happy Thanksgiving sentiment.
I used distress oxide inks to colour the background panel adhered with Etched Laurel Leaves die cuts. All the colours of distress oxide inks are listed below in the supply list. Then I spattered some clean water to get some texture on the background panel. Followed by white gauche. But I was not happy with the chalk finish of distress oxide inks. So I went in with the same colours of distress inks for some intense colour. Once dry, I roughed the edges of the panel and adhered on the White Slimline Scored card base from Simon.
The sentiment from Slimline Greetings stamp set is stamped using Simon’s Burned Orange dye ink on white cardstock, trimmed and adhered on the card front using foam adhesives. A few sequins from Simon’s Summer Sunset collection and Nuvo white glossy drops scattered around to finish off the card.

I love the fall colours and etched details on the die leaves die cuts on the background panel. Perfect for thanksgiving sentiment.
For the next card, I want to use Happy Halloween sentiment because I also love halloween colours. Mmm! I also love Christmas colours. I am in spring season now where I live, so some pretty spring pastel colours would be great for Easter Greetings sentiment. I think I have some work cut out now creating all these cards. Cannot wait to ink up, make them and share. This goes to show, with just one die set and a sentiment stamp set is enough to make several different cards for several different occasions.
Hope you are inspired by my card and my thought process. Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog post today. All supplies used to make this card are listed below. These are affiliate links with no cost for you. Have a wonderful day and until next time…. take care.
