Hey hey everyone, How’z it going’? Hope you are safe and sound. So today I have a fun summertime card. I am looking forward to spring and summer in the place where I live. So this card is perfect to my place and state of mind. I also love gnomes. So this stamp set from Simon Says Stamp Chillin Gnomes stamp set from Send Happiness collection along with the coordinating dies had to come home to me. When it arrived, I could not wait to ink and colour the gnomes. So without further delay, here is the card.

So I stamped the coloured all the images from the stamp set using copic markers. Then using the coordianting die set, I die cut them all out.
For the background, I used distress inks to sponge a bright spring/summer coloured background. Over the background, I used In the Round stencil and sponged the same colours of distress inks to add texture and interest to a rather plain background. All the distress ink colours I have used are linked in the supply list below. All are affiliated links and they cost you no extra money to buy through the link but gives me a small incentive.
I arranged the coloured die cut on the background into clusters, stamped couple of sentiments directly on the background, one sentiment on white cardstock, trimmed and adhered using foam adhesives. And finally some Nuvo white glossy drops to finish off the card panel. The panel is adhered to the Slim line card base from Simon. The panel is 3.25″ x 8.25″ The card size is 3.5″ x 8.5″.

Supplies:

I am loving all the slimline cards that are trending at the moment. Lots of realestate to work with. Great to use with coloured die cut images and creating background.
Thanks for taking the time to visit my blog today. Hope my card inspired you to make your own. Until next time…. take care.
