Hey everyone,
Hey everyone, Hope you had a wonderful Easter! I wanted to write Easter break and realised we are all one a huge break at the moment. Hope you are all safe and sound. I am here today sharing three new projects using Taylored Expressions Mother’s Day/Floral new release products. All the products I have used in these projects and many more will be released tomorrow -14th of April 2020.
Card #1
The first project uses the new Bouquet Whimsy clear stamp set and coordinating dies. Yes TE has a few clear stamp set too. I combined this set with an oldie Mason Jar stamp set and die to make this card.

I stamped all the flowers using Blueberry and Gumball TE dye inks and the leaves using Lime Zest Te dye ink. I stamped a few of them to make a bouquet. Using the coordinating dies, I die cut them all out.
I stamped the Mason jar using TE Pink Champagne ink and die cut the stamped image using the coordinating die. I then sponged the same ink heavier on the edges fading towards the middle of the mason jar die cut. I stamped the sentiment from the new Penned Pretty stamp set using Oreo hybrid ink. I also used natural twine to tie around the neck of the mason jar.
For the background, I sponged Potato Chip, Pink Champagne and Sprinkles TE dye inks on a long Sugar Cube panel. I then adhered the mason jar with the flowers and leaves die cut from Bouquet Whimsy stamp set to make a huge bouquet. A few Bit and Pieces White Rhinestones scattered around to finish off the panel. I adhered the panel to a long custom made card base using Sugar Cube cardstock to finish off the card.

Card #2
For the second card, I used the new Baroque Overlay die. The details on this die is incredble. There is another die as called Baroque Pocket. Together they are great to make wedding invitations. I used the Baroque overlay die to make another Mother’s day card. I combined this die with the new Big Blooms Fuchsia stamp set and Penned Pretty stamp set to make this card.

The moment I saw the Baroque overlay die, I immediately wanted to die cut using the gold foil cardstock. And it looked so beautiful when die cut especially the details. I die cut two of them to make the overlap flaps for the Gatefold card base. The card base is Cilantro cardstock. The Cilantro green with gold is the just rich gorgeous combination I wanted. The contrast makes the gold Baroque overlay die flaps look beautiful.
For the card inside, I gold heat embossed the Big Blooms Fuchsia stamp on watercolour paper and coloured them using TE Liquid Watercolors. I stamped the sentiment from Penned Pretty stamp set in Cilantro ink. I matted this panel with gold foil cardstock before adhering on Cilantro cardstock panel. I also added a vellum overlay to the panel. This panel goes inside the Baroque overlay Gatefold card base. I then tied the overlay flap using gold twine. Hope my explanation makes sense.

Card #3
The final project is a set of cards using the new Scribbled Rose stamp set. Again these are two Mother’s Day cards one for mother and another for grandmother. I combined this Scribbled Rose stamp set with the new Building Blocks Her stamp set, coordinating dies and Inside Scoop For Her stamp set to make this card set.

I just went to town stamping the Scribbled Rose background stamp on a few panels using Oreo hybrid ink. This stamp set comes with a set of six clear solid stamp to fill in the roses and leaves. So I stamped a few coloured roses and leaves on my stamped panels. I then coloured the background using copic markers on couple of panels. Then I picked two panels to make two cards in this set. I matted the background panels with black Inside Scallop Rectangle die before adhered to the card base. I chose the colour of the card base from the colour of the large roses on the Scribbled Rose background panel. So one card base is Candy Corn and the other is Pink Champagne.
The sentiments are from Building Blocks Her and The Inside Scoop For Her stamp set. I white heat embossed the sentiment on Oreo cardstock, die cut using the Building Blocks die and adhered using foam adhesives. A few Bits and Pieces white Rhinestones to finish off the cards.
