Hey everyone, Hope you are all doing good in this crazy environment. It is just unbelievable how life just took a sudden change for everyone, with the spread of this new virus. Just make sure you are washing hands frequently and social distance yourself to keep well. Even the postie said no need to sign for the package to keep the social distance. So he left the package on my driveway after he saw me opening the door. Ok fair enough! I don’t know about you, I feel no different because I am an introvert and don’t normally go out often. Having said that, I go to gym regularly. Now I am thinking if I should go to gym tomorrow. My gym is open and I have not received any notice from them. Shopping for basic food has been difficult. I made a few trips and stocked up. I think I have food for a month or two. Schools and universities are open and running as usual. Hubby gone to work at the hospital as usual. Hopefully, there won’t be a complete lockdown. Fingers crossed and we can contain the virus.
So I crafted today and made this card using Simon Says Stamp’s Lucky To Know You collection preprinted Lettered Greeting panels. I used one of the older floral stamp set called Delicate Flowers to mask and stamp a cluster to colour. I also added a sentiment from the new Just Because Word Mix 2 stamp set. Here you go.

My previous Birthday Card on my blog, I used masking technique to stamp the florals around the big bold sentiment to frame the sentiment. On this card, I used masking technique to stamp the cluster of florals on top of the big bold sentiment leaving white space around the edges. Since the sentiment printed is black, when I mask and stamp the cluster of florals, they look like they are behind the sentiment. To enhance that effect, I added shadows to the printed sentiment.
I made masks for the flowers from Delicate Flowers stamp set by stamping on masking paper and hand cutting them out. Then I stamped, masked, stamped, masked and repeated the process to get a large floral cluster. I did not have to worry about masking the sentiment, as the sentiment is in black and I stamped the floral cluster in black ink which does not show up on top of the sentiment.
I coloured the floral cluster using copic markers. I will list all the markers used below in the supply list. I added highlights to them using white gel pen. Like I said before, I added shadows to the printed sentiment to make them pop of the cluster.
I trimmed the panel and adhered on white card base using foam adhesive. Then I stamped one of the sentiment from CZ design Just Because Word Mix 2 stamp set in black on white cardstock, hand cut it out and adhered on the centre of the card front using foam adhesives. I then used Sparkletz’s All is Calm jewels in pink scattered around to complete the card.

This is a second method of adding your own stamped images to personalise Simon’s Preprinted Sentiment panel. I have two more panels in the set. I will show two more methods on them and share in the coming days. Hope you got inspired by my project today. Have a wonderful day. Wash hands frequently, keep social distance and stay safe. I will see you next time.
