Hey everyone! Hope you had a wonderful weekend! I have couple of sympathy cards using Taylored Expressions February release products. I particularly love their Stripe stencils in the release. Stripes with floral or foliage is an easy and beautiful background. I have used this concept to make my cards today.

I used the 1/2″ and 3/4″ stripe stencil to sponge TE dye inks to create the striped background. I used ombre blue using Sprinkles, Cookie Monster and Blue Raspberry dye inks with blender brushes on the first card front. For the second card front, I used Gumball, Lime Zest and Granny Smith dye ink. Then I stamped the In the Meadow stamp on the bottom of the card front using Oreo ink with MISTI. MISTI helps with double stamping to get good even coverage especially for solid stamps.
The sentiment is from Handlettered Sympathy stamp set, stamped using Oreo hybrid ink. Using the coordinating dies, I die cut them out. I also die cut a few more using Sugar Cube cardstock, to stack and glue the die cut sentiment for added dimension. I adhered this on top centre of the card front. A few Drips Drops to finish off the cards. By now you know I love Drip Drops as embellishments. They are super cute.
