Hello everyone, hope you are having a wonderful day! Today starts the first day of Taylored Expressions February release. There is a lot of new fresh stamps, dies and stencils in this release. I cannot wait to share my proejcts using them. Hope you enjoy and get inspired.
As always, I have two projects per day until Thursday. The release is actually tomorrow (Tuesday) instead of Thursday. The first card uses the new Big Blooms Daffodils and the coordinating die. The florals from the Big Bloom series are amazing and we have another one to add this release. Here is my card.
I stamped the Daffodils three times using Oreo hybrid ink on Sugar Cube cardstock, then coloured them using copic markers. Then die cut all of them using the coordinating die. On the card front which is a toffee cardstock, I stamped Shiplap background stamp using Sugar Cube ink for subtle interest. Then I clustered and grouped the daffodils die cuts on the bottom half of the card front and glued them down.
The sentiment is from Sentiment Strips Sympathy. I stamped the sentiment using Cilantro ink on Sugar Cube cardstock. Die cut using Simple Strips die and adhered on top left of the card front. A few Drip Drops from Bits & Pieces collection to finish off the cards.
I love floral cards. Nothing compares to the beautiful of flowers. They are great especially for sympathy cards.
The next project uses the new Handlettered Sympathy stamp set and coordinating die. I also combined two more new products to make this card. I used the new 1″ stripe stencil set and the In the Meadow Background stamp.
for the background, I used the new 1″ stripe stencil and sponged Pink Champagne, Strawberry Milkshake, Mint Julep and Spearmint TE dye inks using TE Blender Brushes. I love striped backgrounds. They are perfect for floral or foliage stamps. Then I stamped In The Meadow stamp on the bottom of the stamp set using Oreo hybrid ink and MISTI. MISTI helps with multiple stamping to get good coverage. The contrast was gorgeous.
The sentiment is from Handlettered Sympathy stamp set which I stamped using Oreo hybrid ink using MISTI. Then die cut using the coordinating die. I adhered this on top centre of the card using foam adhesive. Again a few Drip Drops from Bits and Pieces collection scattered on the card front finishes off the card.
All these new products are released tomorrow and available for purchase. Now head over to TE blog for more inspirations from Taylor and design team. There is also the Question of the Day on TE blog. Answer the question in the comments on TE blog to enter a chance to a giveaway.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog today. Have a wonderful day and I will see you tomorrow with more projects.
