Hey everyone, Thank you for your wonderful support on my card yesterday. Your support encourages me a lot to do more. So very grateful. Today I have a valentine’s day card using Taylored Expressions products. I have used new and old products to make this card.

Colours make me happy. So ink blending is one of my favourite technique. I used TE dye inks in pinks, red and orange colours to blend a white panel for the background. I used TE blender brushes to blend. Blending several layers was very relaxing.
Then I die cut three white panels using the TE Floating Hearts cutting plates. I stacked and glued them for dimension and adhered on top of the ink blended panel. I trimmed off the excess ink blended panel from the sides. This panel I adhered to the white card base.
For the sentiment, I used Caps Lock LOVE, die cut using Oreo cardstock thrice, stacked and glued. I also brushed some shimmer on all the letters. The secondary sentiment is from Mini Strips Valentine which I stamped using Oreo hybrid ink on Sugar Cube cardstock, die cut using Mini Strips Asymmetrical die. Then I coloured the strip using BG11 copic marker.
The image is from You Have My Heart stamp set. I stamped the owl image from the stamp set using Oreo hybrid ink and coloured using copic markers. Using the coordinating die, I die cut the images out. The head and body are two images in the stamp set. I adhered the head of the owl to the body using glue and foam mounted the owl to the card front using foam adhesive. A few white glossy drops to finish off the card.

Supplies:

Thank you for visiting my post today. It is a long weekend for me since Jan 26th is Australia Day for me 🙂 Out of respect to the families affected by bushfires, I think this year there is no big celebration. At least I won’t be celebrating. Anyway, you have a lovely weekend! See you soon in another blog post.
Love this!!! So cute!
