Hey everyone!
First of all I want to wish you all a Very happy New Year 2020!

Hope you have an amazing year ahead filled with all that you wished for, love, happiness, fun, love, kindness, laughter, family and let me be real more finance and great health. New year is a great beginning! I want that not just for me but for everyone. Happy New Year!
Where have I been?
I have not been blogging regularly for past few months. Not as active as I was on social media either. It all started with my daughter Aditi, being in year 12 and approaching her final exams in October and November. I slowed down on crafting to focus on her and supporting her. We are not the helicopter parents by any means but we are there to support her emotionally and keep her focussed. Not to brag, she is brilliant girl. By mid to end of November she finished her exams and I was about to restart my crafting when she received six interview calls for Medical schools from all over Australia. For the next three to four weeks we ended up travelling for all the interviews. It was exhausting and tiring both mentally and physically adjusting to different time zones. Australia has five time zones. Just back and forth to various times zones was tedious. It was more so for Aditi since she had no break after exams. That took toll on our health. So crafting took back seat even more. I did bare minimum although I had the mojo to do more. Family and health comes first right?
Then came Aditi’s results. She did amazingly well. In Australia, we have percentile system called ATAR. Aditi scored an ATAR of 99.65 percentile in the state. She also received General Exhibition Award, Excellence award in Biology and Chemistry and Certificate of distinction. We are so proud of her and her achievements and hard work. We celebrated! While all this was going on my son Siddarth, wrote his second year Med school exams. We went from stressed to exhaustion to excitement to stress. It was a roller coaster of emotions. Then came Christmas. Followed by some of Medical School Offers. Aditi got offers from two Universities so far. Rest of them will come out in the coming weeks. Just when all settled, New Year came upon us all.
What is for future?
So proud of Aditi and Siddarth. Could not have asked more from them as children. Education has always been our focus for our children. It can take them anywhere they want to in future speaking from our own experience. We moved many times from one country to another and one city to another which gave us new set of skills and perspective as family. We grew to be a close knit family of five (dog included). I gave up my career for family and have been my focus through out the past 20 years of my life. It was a conscious choice that I am proud of doing and with no regrets. Now that both my children have become adults and independent, I have the time in life. I am looking forward to focusing more on myself, as couple with hubby and restarting my crafting full throttle.
Being new year today, I have some important life decisions to make and stick to it. I normally don’t do new resolutions. This is not a resolution. I am entering a different stage in my life which is normally called empty nest. I am looking forward to it. There is a sense of contentment at the moment. Family is first priority always but they don’t need as much attention as before. Focus is on my health, crafting, plants, dog, travel and service in no particular order. I just need to organise. So you will start to see more crafting projects back on my blog. I cannot wait to make and share.
Today is the first blank page of a 365-page book. I am going to write a very good one consciously. I have never in my life talked so much about anything this personal publicly. I felt like it today so I did. Thank you for stopping by and reading my blob. Once again here is to new beginnings! Happy New Year to all of you!
Congrats! It seems like you raised two awesome children!
