Altenew: A Year In Review Blog Hop + Giveaway

December 18, 2019 Altenew

Hello everyone! Hope you are having a lovely day! Today I am excited to share my Altenew projects I made this year that I absolutely love. This post is part of Altenew’s A year in review blog hop!

_Blog Hop

There are plenty of inspirations as well as giveaways. So make your self a cuppa and enjoy.

qfH9t4_g

These are my absolute favourite four Altenew Projects from 2019. I do have many others which I will share as well.

Project #1

Gayatri Murali Project 4

I love Altenew’s 3D dies. They are my favourite Altenew product. On this card, I used the Peony Dream 3D die set. The scale and dimension of the flowers and leaves is just gorgeous. If you love floral cards, this set is great to have in your collection. There are many more such die sets on Altenew shop.

Project #2

Gayatri Murali project 1

This set of cards I adore because of the colour combination as well as the floral images from Wonderland Stamp Set. I also love the layout of the cards. The colour combination is outside my box. Normally I go for bright colours but in this case I wanted to try out something different and i am thrilled with the result.

Projects #3

Gayatri Murali project 2

This set of cards I made for ACEP program. Love these because they combine a few techniques. I used stencils with stamping as well as adding details using Artist markers on the background panel. Also love the black hello sentiment which contrasts the background. The products I used on these cards are A Study in Watercolor stamp set, Grid Stencil and Halftone Hello die.

Project #4

Gayatri Murali Project 3

Another floral card of course! What can I say? Altenew floral stamp sets are amazing. I used the Wallpaper Art stamp set on this card. I love the details on the leaves in this set. The leaves have both solid as well as outline leaves which not only gives dimension as well as versatility to colour the outline images or stamp the images in colour. I also added dot details to the flowers and leaves which turned out beautiful. I always love to use stencils on the background if you have noticed on all the four projects. Stencils add subtle dimension to the background.

Here are the rest of my Altenew projects I made this year that I love.

It is harder than I thought to pick favourites. Anyway, these are my other favourites. Most of them are floral cards. I love floral cards and I love colours. So they make most of my favourite cards this year. Hope you love them as much as I do and inspires you to make your own.
