Hello and welcome to my blog. Today I am very excited to be part of Simon Says Stamp Cheer and Joy release. This is an awesome festive release. I adore their festive release and this one is no different.
I have lots of projects to share for this hop. I wanted to share some yesterday for the release but for some reason, the post did not go live for some reason. By the time I realised it, it was too late. So I scratched that post and decided to share them all today. This post is photo heavy. Make sure you have a cuppa with you to scroll through.
Here is my first project and I love how this one turned out. My favourite of my projects in this post.
I used the new Deer in a Row die and the Gnome die to make it. I love love the Gnome die. I adore gnomes in general but this die with ability to die cut each detail separately and assemble them elevates the gnome to a higher level in my opinion. I went in for a more warm muted background with pops of rich reds, sparkle and splash of white. I really really love how it turned out. The sentiment is from the new Sentiment Strips Christmas.
The second project rather projects uses the new Suzy’s Christmas Critters Watercolor prints. I love Suzy’s watercolor prints. Stamping is done for you. All you need to do is pick up your favourite colouring medium and start colouring. I coloured four of the panels and made a set of four cards.
After watercolouring the images, I die cut the panel using the largest Wonky Stitched rectangle die and roughed the edges with the scissors. I also used Simon’s older stencil called Falling Stars and Moonstone Glimmer paste to add subtle texture to the panels. On one of the panel, there is no sentiment. So I used the sentiment from Sentiment Strip Christmas. I mounted couple of them on red card base and the other two on green card base. All supplies used to make these cards are listed below.
Here is all the products released yesterday.
