It has been a long time since I shared a card here. Like I mentioned in my previous post, my crafting has taken a back seat because of how crazy it is in my house with daughter doing her year 12. Mock exams have finished. WACS exams start next month. The applications to universities take forever. Now that applications and mocks are done, I have some breathing space to craft. That is exactly what I did this morning. I made a card! It felt so relaxing I tell you. Surprisingly I had not lost my mojo to create. It just flowed so easily when I picked up the stamp to create. So happy with that. I will be back into routine for another couple of weeks then hibernate again till exams finish. I cannot wait to return back in full. Anyway, here is the card I made today.

All the products I used to make this card is from Simon Says Stamp’s STAMPtember release. I have been meaning to use them ever since they arrived at my doorstep. Finally I did. I stamped the Flora background stamp on Bristol Smooth cardstock using Simon’s Intense Black ink and coloured using Zig Clean color brush pens. I also added details using copic markers and white gel pen.
I trimmed the panel to the size of the card front, then roughed the edges to adhered on the white card base. The sentiments are from Simon’s Sentiment Strip Inside Out Birthday. These are printed sentiment panels from Simon. All you need to do is trimmed and adhered. If you want to add colour, sponge ink or use copics to colour. I didn’t want to add colour because the background is colourful. I trimmed three sentiments from the panel, roughed the edges and foam mounted them on the centre on the card front. That is it. Simple but the colourful background makes the impact. I love the Flora background. There is also a stencil on the same pattern in the release.
