Day #2 of TE Birthday Release!

Hello everyone, Hope you are having a lovely day! Yesterday was Taylored Expressions 11th birthday release.

I shared two projects yesterday with the new release products. Today I have another two projects to share. The first one uses the new Big Grumpy stamp and die combo along with the new Party Pennant background stamp.

Yay Me card

I love the grumpy series. This one is big grumpy. Awesome. There are several fab and cheeky sentiments in this set. I love it. I used the Party Pennant on the background with masking and ink sponging technique. I stamped the background pennant image using Oreo hybrid ink using MISTI. Then I cut a few one inch pieces of masking paper which I used to mask and sponge ink in stripes using TE inks and blender brushes. I will list all the inks I used in the supply list. Then I used copic markers in a darker shade to add colour to the pennant image to make the image pop. I trimmed the panel and adhered the panel to Seasalt card base using foam adhesives.

Then I stamped the Big Grumpy using Oreo ink and coloured using copic markers. Then I stamped the sentiment from Big Grumpy stamp set on the board grumpy is holding. Using the coordinating die, I die cut the grumpy out. I adhered grumpy on a vellum layer die cut using one of the die from Frayed Edge Stacklet using foam adhesive and mounted this on the card front using foam adhesive again. That is it. card is done.

My second project is a set of cards. I used the Big Grumpy Birthday stamp set, coordinating die and Backstory Background stamp.

I stamped the Backstory Birthday background stamp on Sugar Cube cardstock using Sea Salt TE dye ink. Then using one of the dies from Stitched Square Stacklet I die cut four panels out. I think I used the fourth die in the stacklet. Using the second die from the stacklet, I die cut four Sea Salt cardstock. I adhered the stamped panel over the Sea Salt panel using foam adhesives for dimension. For the card base. I die cut eight Petite Scallop Square panels, score on four at an inch from top, added adhesive and adhered to the other panels to create four petite scallop square card bases. Then I adhered the Sea Salt panel previously prepared on top using tape adhesive for the card front.

For the focal images, I stamped the balloon, gift, cupcake and party hat from the Big Grumpy Birthday stamp set using Oreo ink and coloured using copic markers. Using the coordinating dies, I die cut them all out.

For the sentiment, I stamped four sentiment from the same stamp set using Oreo hybrid ink and using one of the dies from Stitched Banner Stacklet, I die cut them all out.

To finish the card, I adhered the sentiment banner horizontally on the card fronts using foam adhesives, then the stamped coloured diecut images to support the sentiments. A few enamel shapes to complete the cards. That is it. Simple but love the sentiment on them 🙂 Cheeky hey!
