Hey everyone, Hope you all are having a great weekend and happy Monday to everyone on the other side of the planet. I have a few projects I like to share using Taylored Expression Blender Brushes and I also have some new information on the brushes to share.
But first, have you seen TE’s new website? It is amazing. So beautiful and very user friendly. I love it. Check out TE store if you haven’t. TE will start accepting pre-order for the new Blender Brushes starting September 12th. Here are some important information from TE blog regarding the pre-order:
- Blender brushes will be arriving in waves over the next several months & it is important that you note the estimated shipping date in the description on the product page when you place your pre-order.
- Please include only the blender brushes and caddy in your order. If you have additional items to order, we ask that you place a separate order for those items.
- When you purchase the blender brushes and caddy together, you will receive the cleaning tool FREE through September 16th or while supplies last.
If you missed out on the gorgeous and functional TE blender brushes, then here is your second chance. I love mine and am sure you will love yours too.
I have couple of projects to share using these blender brushes. The first one uses the Simple Strips stamp set and dies. This series of stamp set and dies are a must have in your collection. So easy to stamp out a ton of sentiments and the one die cuts them all out. Perfect!
What I did was to use TE dye inks and Blender Brushes to blend the colours on sugar cube cardstock and die cut using the Simple Strips die. Then I adhered them using foam adhesives on a Sugar Cube panel. I adhered this panel on the card base. The sentiment is from Simple Strips stamp set which I white heat embossed on Oreo cardstock and die cut using the coordinating die. A few white nuvo crystal drops to finish off the card.
I also have a second project using the blender brushes and an older die called Downtown Border die and Set the Scene Clouds stencil along with the Simple Strips stamp set and dies.
I used the Clouds stencil and TE Earl Grey dye ink to make the clouds background with blender brushes. Then I sponged a rainbow of colours from TE on Sugar Cube cardstock strips. I chose Lollipop, Granny Smith, Lemon Meringue, Candy Corn and Cookie Monster. Then die cut the strips with Downtown Border die. Now I layered glued them on a scrap paper before adhering them on the background panel before adhered the panel to the card base. The sentiment is the leftover from the previous heat embossed sentiments from Simple Strip die cut using the coordinating die. That is it. Card is finished.
For more details check out TE store and Blog. And thank you for taking the time to visit my blog. This month is TE’s 11th birthday. We are celebrating the birthday from tomorrow (Tuesday) with lots of fun inspirations and prizes. Keep tuned! Have a lovely day everyone!
