Hello Sweet Friend! TE August Release Sneak Peek Day #2

Welcome to day #2 sneak peek from Taylored Expressions. Hope you enjoyed yesterday’s day #1 projects. Today I have two more projects using more new release products. These projects are fall themed. I love fall themed projects because of the fall colours. Here is my first project.

I used the new Simply Smitten stamp set to stamp and colour using copic markers. Then I used the coordinating dies to die cut all the elements out. For the background, I sponged TE dye inks in Candy Cord, Pumpkin, Sweet Potato Pie, Potato Chip and Lime Zest. I used the Blender Brushes to sponge the inks on Sugar Cube panel. I then die cut the panel using the largest of the Petite Scallop Rectangle die and dry embossed the second largest stitched rectangle die on the panel. This adds details to the panel. I also added white spatter using Copic White.

I adhered the die cut elements from Simply Smitten stamp set on the middle of the sponged panel using foam adhesives for dimension. I adhered the panel to the Sugar Cube panel using foam adhesive to finish off the card. I used Hello Sweet Friend sentiment from the Simply Smitten stamp set. There are other sentiments in the set that will fit inside the banner as well as sentiment that can be stamped on its own without the banner.

I love the ink blended background and the coloured elements just pop against it.

For the second project, I used the new Floral Fields background stamp and Flip the Script Pumpkin Tag stamp and die combo.

I stamped the Floral Fields background stamp in Toffee ink on Buttercream Frosting card panel. Then using green copic marker, I coloured just the leaves to add pop of colour. Then using the scissors I roughed the edges of the panel before adhered to Pumpkin card base.

I stamped the Flip the Script Pumpkin tag using Pumpkin and Candy Corn TE dye ink and the stem with Cilantro TE dye ink. Love the sentiment on this stamp. Using the die, I die cut the pumpkin and stem and glued the stem over the pumpkin. I brushed some shimmer over the pumpkin.

I layered this pumpkin over a Petite scallop circle die cut using Toffee cardstock and sponged Toffee dye ink to add depth. This layered circle element is adhered on the centre of the Floral Fields background panel using foam adhesives. I added few Orange Nuvo crystal drops to tie in the orange pumpkin focal point and the orange card base. This finishes the card. I also made some Pumpkin tags using Flip the Script Pumpkin Tag stamp and die combo.
