Relax and Unwind!

Today I did some heat embossing and ink blending. This project is for Altenew’s ACEP program. This is last but one project before completion. I too the Impressive Heat Embossing class. Instead of following one of the tutorial from the class. I decided to do my own version of heat embossing. Hope you like it.

Hello and welcome! I am Gayatri, a papercrafter. Today’s project share is full of colour and texture. It is a scenic card. I wish I was in there right now because it is cold where I live. Here is my project for Impressive Heat Embossing class for Altenew’s ACEP program.

ACEP Impressive Heat Embossing

I used Altenew’s Gradient Sunset Stamp set to make my card. There is a lot of masking, coloured heat embossing and ink blending to make this scenic card. I used clear embossing powder for all my heat embossing. I stamped all the images with the coloured inks, followed by sticky ink before clear heat embossing the image. Usually such scenes have silhouette images in black. I wanted them in colours hence I did the process I mentioned previously.

I them ink blended the background with distress inks to add the vibrant tropical sunset feel. I removed the mask and stamped the sentiment below the scene. I trimmed the panel and adhered the panel to white cardbase using foam adhesives.
