Celebrate with Taylored Expressions June Release!

Today is day #3 of the Taylored Expressions June release. Hope you enjoyed the day #1 and #2 projects. I have two new projects to share with you today showcasing more new products in the June release.

The first project showcases the new Banner of the Year 4th of July stamp and die combo with Home of the Brave stamp set. I love love how this card turned out. Hope you like it too.

I used my favourite Sea Salt cardstock from TE as my base and layering. I stamped the burst images from Banner of the Year 4th of July stamp set in Cherry Pop and Blueberry TE dye all over the card front.

For the second layer, I trimmed the Sea Salt cardstock to 4″x5.25″ in size and stamped the map of USA using the same two inks. I masked striped portion to ink the star portion with Blueberry and stamped first using MISTI, the masked the star portion of the image to ink the stripped portion with Cherry Pop to stamp using MISTI. Then I roughed the edges of this panel before I adhered on the card front using foam adhesives.

For the third layer, I used vellum. I stamped the banner images suing the same colours of ink, die cut them using the die from the set and arranged on the vellum layer using foam adhesives. Then die cut the USA using a few white cardstock and one using golf foil cardstock to stack and glur with the gold layer on the top. I adhered these on top of the banner. I also die cut some stars using gold foil cardstock and adhered to the ends of the banner. The sentiment is from Home of the Brave which I stamped using the same two colours and MISTI comes in handy for this. Trimmed the sentiment and adhered using foam adhesive below the banner. The whole vellum layer is adhered with foam hidden behind the banner and sentiment on top of the USA map layer. That is it.

Supplies:

Coming to the second project, this one is a pretty one. I used the new Wild Flower background stamp and Hey Craft Friend stamp set to make. The Wildflower stamp is such a beautiful delicate stamp. I decided to watercolour them using TE liquid watercolors.

I white heat embossed the Wildflower image on TE watercolor cardstock panel using TE white detailed embossing powder. Then using TE’s liquid watercolour I coloured the whole panel. I will list all the colours used in the supply list below. Once the panel is dry, I used copic markers to add shading to the insides of the flowers and leaves to make them pop.

I trimmed the panel and adhered on Sugar Cube card base. The sentiment is from Hey Crafty Friend stamp set which I white heat embossed on Oreo cardstock, trimmed and adhered using foam adhesives. A few glossy accents around the panel to mimick dew drops.
