Thank you Teacher!

I went to see my GP recently because I have been sick for a while now. Fatigued, breathlessness, restless leg, exhausted, headache, dizziness, having to push myself to function, heavy periods…. Turns out my iron stores are low. It was low earlier too and I have been taking iron supplements for more than 6 months. But the stores have gone down more than the previous level. Being a vegetarian, iron deficiency is common and I know it. I try to eat well balanced diet but it seems I have not! I am waiting for more blood results. Depending on the results, I may have to go in for an iron transfusion. Well, I want to get better as I don’t like being sick like this. I will update on the results and treatment in the coming days.

Hello and welcome back! Sorry about the rant. Anyway, I have a rainbow coloured teacher’s card to share with you today. I used some of the new release products from Taylored Expressions to make this card.

I used the Alphabet Soup cutting plate for the background and Apple of my Eye stamp set to make this card. I sponged Picked Raspberry, Ripe Persimmon and Mustard Seed distress inks on Sugar Cube panel and die cut the panel using the Alphabet Soup cutting plate. Then stamped the two apple images from the Apple of my Eye stamp set using Cracked Pistachio, Peacock Feathers, Salty Ocean, Mermaid Lagoon and Blueprint Lagoon distress inks. I used MISTI to stamp distress inks multiple times to get good saturated coverage of ink. Using the Apple Stacklet and Apple stems and seed dies I die cut the images out and adhered using foam adhesives over the background panel. The panel is adhered to the Sea Salt card base. No embellishments needed. The beautiful colours is all that is needed.

Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog. Have a lovely Thursday!
