I received a cute stamp set from Altenew as a thank you gift in January. I bet many of you got it as well. I decided to ink them to make a set of birthday cards as I am running low on Birthday cards.

This card is goes back to basic of cardmaking – Stamping. As much as I enjoy techniques on card, I enjoy basic stamping especially if the stamp set is gorgeous as this one. So this set uses basic background stamping using coloured inks to make one layer cards. Here is the full set.
Being one layer cards, the placement of the images and colours used makes a huge difference. I chose Altenew inks in Caribbean Sky and Persian Blue, Forest Glades and Frayed Leaf, Green Fields and Firefly, Bamboo and Parrot, Wisteria and Hydrangea and Pink Pearl and Coral Bliss inks cube to stamp the images. For the sentiment from Birthday Greeting stamp set, I used Industrial Diamond and Pure Graphite inks cut in ombre. A few white glossy Nuvo drops finished off the card.
