This is just my Favourite Summertime!

Hello everyone,

Hope you are all having a wonderful weekend. I have another  Simon Says Stamp card using their newest Friendly Frolic release products.

On this card I have used the new Leafy Frame die along with the CZ design simple Tabs dies.

For the background, I sponged distress inks. The colours I used are Seedless Preserve, Picked Raspberry, Candied Apple, Ripe Persimmon and Carved Pumpkin. Love the bright summery colours. Then I die cut three of Leafy Frame die using Neenah Solar White 80 lbs cardstock. Stacked and glued them to make thick dimensional Leafy Frame die cut. I adhered this on top of the ink sponged background.

For the sentiment, I die cut Summer Time die from Sending Sunshine release collection out of black cardstock and made a shaker out of it. I used the Groovy Confetti from Good Vibes collection as the shaker filler.

I die cut a scrap piece of white cardstock using the larger tab die, sponged Carved Pumpkin and Picked Raspberry distress inks, then stamped the sentiment from Tabbed Sentiment stamp set and adhered to the top of the shaker die cut. I adhered this shaker die cut on the middle of the sponged panel.

I also added a butterfly die cut cut out of Adeline Butterfly die also from Simon. This die cut is a left over from another project which I will share later. I used the Leafy Frame stencil  to mask and sponge same distress inks I used for the rest of the card. Then added some white spatters. Finally I added a few drops of white Nuvo crystal drops around the panel. This panel is adhered to white card base.

I have been sponged backgrounds recently. Well, I love bright colours and lots of it make me very very happy 🙂 Hope you like too. All supplies used to make this card are listed below.
