Happy Monday! I wish it is for me. My Monday is cold, wet and windy! So its all indoors for me not just today but for the whole week. I want some sunshine and warmth. I have to wait for Saturday to get that. Anyway, I have another one layer card to share with you today. This one completes all my assignments for the Altenew Academy class.
This card is for day #4 of the class. I wanted to do something a bit different to what Kelly taught in the class. She used grey markers to add shading to copic colouring. But I love the monochromatic shading using grey artist markers. So I basically coloured my cluster of images stamped on top of the card front using masking technique using just the grey markers. I absolutely love how the colouring turned out.
Then I masked the images and sponged Worn Lipstick, Picked Raspberry and Abandoned Coral distress oxide inks on the bottom of the cardfront. Then stamped the sentiment and added the border using black fine liner. I also used white gel pen to add highlights to the coloured images. Finally added some glossy accents to the dots and randomly over the card front.
All the stamp sets, markers and inks used in this card are from Altenew.
Many thanks for visiting!
