#justforyou!

Hey everyone, Welcome back to my blog.

After colouring and playing with alcohol inks for past few days. I decided I want to go back to basics and do some stamping. Its good to always revisit basics. I am a stamper by heart and stamping brings me great joy! So I just picked a stamp set from Altenew and did just that 🙂

I have gone for a one layer card except for the enamel dots. And my stamping has layers. Two kind of layering. First one is using layered stamps and the other is layering the stamped images both of which give depth to the images and the card front. Depth is especially important for one layer cards otherwise it will look very flat and meh. So here is my card.

The stamp set I have used here is called Parrot Paradise from Altenew. I love the tropical foliages in this stamp set. And they have layers. Lovely. I also used Altenew inks to stamp the images. The inks I have used are Green Meadows, Green Fields, Tropical Forest and Sea Shore. I also used Coral Bliss to add colour to the greenery. I used MISTI to stamp the images.

I love using hashtags for sentiment for some reason. So I used the sentiment from Painted Greetings stamp set to stamp the sentiment in the middle of the card front.

Love the stationery look to the card. I still felt the card need something more. I wanted to add Nuvo crystal drops but I just could not get it work. My crystal drops are all thicker and leave pointy tips. The jewel drops are great and the white is awesome. But for some reason the crystal drops does not seem to work for me to get that dome shape. So I used doodlebug’s sprinkles. These enamel dots have sparkle on them. I used pink sprinkles on the card to add another pop of colour. All the supplies used to make this card are listed below.
