Winnie & Walter May Rerun Feature

May 4, 2018 Winnie & Walter.

Hello everyone,

Cannot believe it is May already! April went by super quick for me. New month and a new Rerun feature atWinnie & Walter Blog

Rerun is a feature at Winnie & Walter’s blog which runs first of every month where one product is featured and that product is on sale for the entire month. There are plenty of inspiration using that product on W&W Blog for you by the designers.

This month the featured stamp set is Framed with Evelin T designs.

Love the whimsical frames. Also the foliage is great to add on the frames or on the background. I stamped the foliage to create my own background for the card and used on of the frames as my focal point for the sentiment. I made a Mother’s day card just in time for Mother’s Day.

For the background, I used gray ink from Momento to stamped the images. All fo Momento inks are copic safe. I wanted something soft instead of a crisp black outline. Hence the gray ink. I coloured them using copic markers. I chose the two shades of blue. An ink blue and a muted blue along with a chartreuse green and bright yellow. I love this colour combination a lot.

For the focal point, I white heat embossed the frame from Framed stamp set on black cardstock and die cut using the coordinating cutaway. The sentiment is from an older stamp set called Parentville Extras which I white heat embossed inside the frame. I adhered this frame on the top centre of the card front. Used a few sparkly clear sequins to embellished the card front.

Here are some closeups of the card.

All the supplies used to make this card are listed below.

Check out Winnie & Walter Blog for more DT inspiration and the store to purchase this stamp set at a discount.

It’s time for the challenge details:

  2. Link up your project here by 11:55 p.m. CST on May 31, 2018.
  3. Enter as many times as you want before the deadline.
  4. This Rerun Challenge may be combined with other challenges found here on the w&w blog or elsewhere.
