Have a beautiful day!

Hey friends! Today’s card is card #1 using Simon Says Stamp Beautiful Day Card Kit.

Although this kit is out of stock, all the items in the card kit are available for purchase individually at Simon Says Stamp store. I love the stamp set and stencil in the kit a lot. The rainbow pattern papers are fantastic. Too good a kit! I received the box on Wednesday and straightaway I started making cards. Today I am sharing the first card I made.

I have used what was in the kit except for the dies and sequins. I die cut the rainbow striped pattern paper and the white cardstock from the kit using the largest stitched rectangle die from Simon. The stitched white panel is die cut again using the Simon’s Scallop Arched Stitching Border die. I layered the two panel and glued them. I stamped the sentiment from the stamp set on the centre of the white part of the panel.

I then stamped the leaf and butterfly images on white cardstock using Simon Intense Black ink and copic coloured them. Then I fuzzy cut the images, added white dot details using Sakura Gelly Roll white pen and adhered them framing the sentiment. The entire panel is adhered to the card base made from the white cardstock in the kit using foam adhesives. Finally embellished with sequins.

Here are some closeups of the card.

I love love the stamp set in the kit. So I went to town colouring the images. So I have more cards coming up this next week. So keep tuning in. All the supplies used to make this card are listed below.
