A catalogue of Papercraft

Fresh and Fab

December 18, 2011 Freshly Made sketches, Uncategorized

Hey everybody, I played along two challenge today. The first is the sketch challenge from Freshly Made Sketch Challenge Blog and the second is Tuesday Trigger from Moxie Fab World.

Here is a close up of the peacock. The stamp is from Wplus9 and the sentiment is from Papertrey Ink.

I stamped the peacock image using Versamark and SU’s Basic Gray ink.  Then embossed the peacock image with clear embossing powder. Colored the feather blue and sponged SU’s Bashful Blue around them. Finally adding  rhinestones. Isn’t the peacock gorgeous. Love the Magical Moments stamp set from Wplus9.
If you like to play along the challenges then click on the pictures and they will take you to their blogs 🙂 Here is the Freshly Made sketch #15 and the Tuesday Trigger photo for you.

Thanks so much for stopping by! Enjoy your weekend:)
Luv!

Fantastic card. The sponging around the feathers is awesome. Great layout. I like how you accented his feathers with placement of the blue rectangles.

Oh, wow. I just love this card. I just bought this set, but haven't done anything with it. The sponging seems like the perfect technique for a peacock. I know Kim also just got this set. Any interest in a mini blog hop early next year?

So chic! Can I say you have really created a fabulous card. I love that peacock. It is so sassy (if a peacock can be sassy). You really brought the best out in that sketch. Gorgeous!
